The Facebook event called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” went viral, and over 1.6 million people have RSVP’d. They are suggesting they will storm the military base on September 20, 2019, although it’s almost certainly nothing more than a joke for the vast majority. The military has warned they will protect their assets if anyone tries to enter the base.
Nevertheless, the numbers of interested people keep jumping up daily, creating quite a sensation for international media. The idea has also spawned a social media meme and video craze. Now Bud Light is joining in the fun, creating a custom beer for the occasion. The Anheuser-Busch company is saying they will offer free beer to any alien that makes it out of Area 51.
At first, Bud Light took to Twitter, suggesting they would not sponsor the so-called raid.
We’d like to be the first brand to formally announce that we will not be sponsoring the Area 51 raid.

About 21 hours later, Bud Light had already come up with the design for their Area 51 Special Edition “Space Beer” label. The artwork is complete with a green alien and the slogan, “We come in peace.” Above the alien in the green area, the following message is printed:
“Greetings Earthlings. This is the famous Area 51. We know of no space beer by any other life form which is brewed and aged to be more refreshing. Our cryogenic aging produces a light bodied space lager with a fresh taste, a crisp, clean finish, and a smooth drinkability. Take us to your leader…for drinks.”
