The Missing Capstone of the Great Pyramid of Giza

Why is the Great Pyramid of Giza missing a capstone?
Why is the Great Pyramid of Giza missing a capstone?

There are numerous mysteries related to the Great Pyramid of Giza, but there is one which researchers are unable to explain: Why is the Great Pyramid –one of the most precise ancient structures on the surface of the planet— missing a capstone on its top? An interesting story is associated with the visit of Sir Siemens, a British inventor to the top of the Pyramid. When Siemens got to the top of the Pyramid with his guides, he received an electric shock as he tried to drink from a bottle of wine which he brought with him. As Siemens was a scientist, it is said that he moistened a newspaper wrapping it around the bottle converting it into a Leyden jar –basically an early capacitor. As Siemens held the bottle above his head, it became charged with electricity.

When a Pyramid is being built, the capstone or top-stone is the last thing the builders place on the structure. A Capstone is basically one of the most important pieces of the Pyramid.

Is it possible that the Great Pyramid’s capstone was always absent as some experts suggest?

Very unlikely if you take a look at the general characteristics and beauty of the Great Pyramid, plus the builder’s of the Pyramid wouldn’t have left the Pyramid unfinished. Devoid of its original coating of white limestone blocks, the great Pyramid also lacks its summit which gave it ‘approximately’ another 9 meters in height.

Many people believe that the Capstone of the Great Pyramid of Giza was made of Gold and it was ‘somehow’ removed from the top of the pyramid in the distant past. But imagine removing a capstone made entirely out of gold from the top of the Pyramid. How on Earth would you achieve something like that?

Interestingly one theory proposed by Spanish researcher Miguel Pérez-Sánchez indicates that the Great Pyramid wasn’t left unfinished and that a massive sphere was located on its surface. Pérez-Sánchez proposes that the sphere the ancient Egyptians placed at the top of the pyramid symbolized the Eye of Horus and had a diameter of 2,718 royal cubits (2.7 meters), which is the accurate measurement of the number e. The sphere located on the Pyramid was placed as a worship to the Sun and Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, which was associated with Isis.

What was located on the top of the Great Pyramid?

In addition of the sphere located on top of the pyramid, missing today, analysis enabled researchers to find out the inclination angle of 51,84º, the platform that supported the sphere with a pi perimeter of royal cubits; and the height of the pyramidal vertex of 277 778 cubits, equal to the quotient of dividing 1,000,000 between 3,600. According to Pérez-Sánchez, the discovery of the original shape and dimensions of the Great Pyramid, its reconstruction and analysis revealed an architecture made of pure mathematics, geometry, geodesy, and astronomy.

Electrostatic effects on the top of the Great Pyramid

An interesting story directly connected to the top of the Pyramid is associated with the visit of Sir Siemens, a British inventor to the top of the Great Pyramid. It is said that even sparks were emitted from the bottle.

The Arab guides that were accompanying Siemens became scared believing the British scientists were up to ‘witchcraft’ and attempted to seize one of Siemens companions. Upon noticing this, Siemens pointed the bottle towards the Arab Guide which produced a powerful electric shock that knocked the Arab to the ground.

What kind of phenomenon would produce something like this on the top of the Pyramid?

Is it possible that thousands of years ago, some kind of ancient capacitor was placed on top of the Pyramid? If so, does this mean the Pyramid Power Plant theory is correct? It seems that further tests need to be performed in order to conclude the actual purpose of the Great Pyramid, a structure which may not have been built as a tomb, but as a massive ancient power machine that harnessed the natural energy of planet Earth.

  1. Yes it’s hard to call the pyramids tombs when no mummies are found there. There are actual tombs for that. The pyramids served many functions, from harnessing energy to ascension protocols to air traffic control for incoming ET craft during Atlantis and post-cataclysm… The capstone is being hid in the Vatican vaults to prevent the spread of ancient advanced knowledge and maintain the control of ‘The Church’ over the masses.

    1. They are hidden in Turkey but many of the ancient paintings from Hippodrome in Constantinople definitely have them lined up with other items they stole from nations they conquered. A gentleman below points out that even Wiki has a painting on their website that has the 3 pyramid caps off in the distance. There are many more though, just google a few of those keywords and dig a bit. I came across them years ago and it will be impossible to hide the truth from the world now with the internet.

  2. The Arabs became SACRED? I doubt it. Anyway, the Egyptian authorities ban people from climbing the pyramids, maybe they are scared of people finding out the true purpose of the structure.

    1. Yeah. i scratched my head on that one.. However it must be a typo. i think they became scared.. Makes more sense in the sentence.
“The Arab guides that were accompanying Siemens became scrared and
believed the British scientists was up to ‘witchcraft and attempted to
      seize one of Siemens companions”

  3. Arabs are scared of everything, especially of the end of their oil reserves.

  4. The answer again, you will find in my book “We Are Our Ancestors” in chapter eight. It was lifted off and taken from this world. This was the only way of removing it, other than blowing it up.

    1. Unfortunately you will need to revise your book if you prefer it to be accurate. The pyramid caps are still here on earth and hidden in Turkey. They are not difficult to find on the internet. In fact you can even begin by going to Wiki and right there you’re able to see all three of them in a painting from centuries ago. Dont feel bad, no one is infallible. Instead, rejoice. ; )

  5. Where did he come up with a sphere? Is there a reason for suspecting a sphere?

  6. I believe pyramids were energy sources with healing abilities. Why would someone build such massive tombs. We have pyramids shaped objects all over earth and every ancient civilizations more or less linked to it somehow. This could have been the best way to harness earth’s energy.

Also the pyramids are missing something which would make them true energy sources.

    1. If you want to understand why the Egyptians built the pyramids, just study their religion. They believed in a literal afterlife where you ascend to heaven and use wealth from this world in to the next. So the more stuff you had and brought with you, the more stuff you would have in the afterlife. Sounds funny to us now, but this is what they believed inside their religion. The most important people in society built tombs in order to send things with them when they died. The civilizations didn’t necessarily have to be linked. The reasons why we all built pyramids in all sides of the world could simple be because when you try to built something large… do you build a sphere? Do you built a square or do you built a pyramid. When building large objects, the pyramid structure just happens to be the most stable one. There are certain degrees you need to build the pyramid at for it to be the most stable.. if not, you have to put inside structures so it doesn’t collapse. A good example is the Bent Pyramid, where they started to build the pyramid at a specific angle and it eventually collapsed, so they changed the angle in mid design.

When you pour sand out of your hand and it forms a pile… what shape is it in? There’s a reason why things are built a certain way, and we don’t have to be in contact with each other, in order to do it. Things can evolve in a similar way, totally independent of each other and still come to the same types of designs because… they just work the best.

The pyramids were most likely tombs and they went to these extremes in order to protect wealth, that they were bringing to the afterlife.

I suggest you study the religion of the Egyptians because inside the religion there are crucial keys to the mystery.

  7. Quoting: “Is it possible that thousands of years ago, some kind of ancient capacitor was placed on top of the Pyramid?”

Answer: Noooo, the whole pyramid is one capacitor plate, while space is the other. The atmosphere is the dielectric. I believe that the Capstone provides a focus for the Telluric current to saturate the Pyramid with charge, and that the Capstones were not solid gold, it was a rock that was covered with thick gold ?

    1. The pyramids had several different uses. It is similar to a swiss army knife. These answers exist within the internet domain. Seek and you will discover the truth. Yes, the capstones do exist and they are being hidden in modern day Turkey.

  8. maybe they pushed it off the top or used long ropes around it and yanked it off to fall down to the bottom. if it really was made of solid gold most people will do anything for that much payola. i know i would

    1. saying that its most probably in the hands of the freemasons hidden away from us useless eaters as they call us lol

      1. Dan: The Freemasons as a society didn’t exist back then. Working with stone and being a freemason is a lot different than the modern day society called the freemasons.

They are totally two different things.

  9. Correction – the cornerstone is always the most important piece. Not the top, silly.

  10. The three capstones of the great pyramids were last seen in the Hippodrome in Constantinople that Constantine had pilfered along with other Egyptian artifacts. They were portrayed in an old print back in 1580 that showed along with the other artifacts of which three are still there to this day. But the capstones were moved by the Turks after the fall of Constantinople and became Istanbul. Where they were moved to, no one knows. They could still be buried there in the ruble under the current park that exists, which is 6 feet higher than when the hippodrome existed.

  11. First of all, Egyptians are NOT Arabs. They speak Arabic, but that’s about it. It’s a racially ignorant term, which conveniently discounts the veracity of this entire article.
